Star Wars: The Old Republic Shadow of Revan expansion coming in December

Star Wars: The Old Republic's next expansion has been trailered, dated and detailed.

SWTOR: Shadows of Revan adds five new levels of story-driven missions, increasing the level cap to 60 and adding new abilities and equipment. As BioWare has hinted, Revan will play an important role.

As well as debuting locations on new worlds - the tropical Rishi, "a dangerous pirate haven at the edge of the galaxy" and Yavin 4, "home of the fearsome Massassi warriors" - the expansion adds two new role-neutral Flashpoints, four Hard Mode Flashpoints and ten new powerful bosses across two Level 60 Operations.

Then there's the new Discipline system, which allows you to further customise combat; there's a detailed blog post on that.

The fun kicks off on December 9, but subscribers who pre-order will receive a 12xXP boost and the Grand Statue of Revan. More details are available on the Shadow of Revan website, or check out the trailer below.
