Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire mega evolution Rayquaza revealed

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire includes a third legendary mega evolution - Rayquaza.

The new Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire trailer below shows off Mega Rayquaza.

Rayquaza, a dragon-and-flying-type Pokémon, joins Groudon and Kyogre to make up the twin games' three legendaries. Mega Rayquaza can block moves like Rain Dance, Sandstorm and Hail, which is kind of handy.

"Rayquaza is said to be somehow connected with the mysteries of Mega Evolution. Now its Mega-Evolved appearance has been revealed," Nintendo said in a post accompanying the trailer.

"The Legendary Pokemon Rayquaza is said to achieve Mega Evolution in a remarkable way - unlike that of other Pokemon - due to its unique biology. What is this unique method? And what is the mystery of Mega Evolution? All will become clear in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire."

Which, by the way, arrives on 3DS in November.
