Super-Size Pumpkaboo added to Pokemon X & Y

A Super-Size Pumpkaboo is available to players of Pokemon X and Pokemon Y via Nintendo Network from today.

The Pumpkaboo will also qualify players for the "Trick-or-Treat Friendly Online Competition".

To qualify, every participant’s Battle Box must include a Super-Size Gourgeist which can be found once the Super-Size Pumpkaboo is downloaded. It can then be traded to evolve into the battle-ready Gourgeist.

A Halloween-themed page on the official Pokemon website with various tricks and treats is also available for Poke fans.

Those who don't want to participate in the event don't have to in order to use Pumpkaboo, and will be pleased to know he holds a Rocky Helmet, which can cause damage to an attacker.

This Pumpkin Pokemon comes in four sizes, each featuring different stats. Super-Size Pumpkaboo also possess a larger HP stat which make him more durable.

Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist are the only known Pokemon that can learn the move Trick-or-Treat which adds a Ghost type to opponents.
