Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair video uses kids' drawings to tell the tale

D3 Publisher announced Earth Defences 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair during Sony’s pre-Tokyo Game Show event yesterday, and today we have the trailer for it.
You will note various drawings from little ones showing the happenings from the last outing, Earth Defense Force 2025, before hinting at things to come in the new title.
The game is out on PS4 in Japan next year.
