Bloodborne's TGS 2014 trailer makes us pretty excited for the show

Bloodborne is coming out so soon that the Tokyo Game Show is one of its last major press showcases. Check out this new trailer from Japan.

Bloodborne is going to be a big part of Sony's TGS presence this year, as it plays to the home crowd. This new trailer is probably just the start of it.

After the success of Dark Souls, it's easy to forget that Demon's Souls was developed specifically for Japanese audiences, and while Bloodborne will certainly find success overseas Sony would be made not to play up the spiritual successor angle - especially as SCE Japan Studios is back on board the project.

The new trailer doesn't have much in the way of new content, so if you've been following Bloodborne closely you might be a little disappointed. But don't worry! Pat harvested loads of details from the gamescom demo, and by gum I'll have a paddle at it in Tokyo if it's possible.

Unless Sony is trying to keep the game's story and systems under wrap till launch it should be playable at the show, because Bloodborne's release date is perilously close. Bless short PR cycles! If I had to wait any longer for this one I'd probably explode.

If you'd like to see more Bloodborne, there's a longer trailer from gamescom and even a six minute walkthrough.
