Watch new Elite: Dangerous code being shown off at Insomnia 52

Hello space fans. Today, we would like to give you a glimpse into your future as told by David Braben at Insomnia 52.

Granted, this future is your place at the keyboard playing Elite: Dangerous. Not like you are really going into space or anything. If you are one of the few though, bully for you.

Most of the game's basics are covered in this stage demonstration. While those of you who are fans or backers may already be familiar with what is shown, it's still new code.

The biggest difference of note is the ship UI, and isn't what players are perusing in the beta.

Again, those who play will probably notice the slight differences. The rest of us? Not so much.

Elite: Dangerous is slated for a Q4 release on PC and Mac.
