Microsoft has started testing a feature on Xbox One that would make digital games free to access for a 24-hour period.

Xbox One free play day

US participants in the Xbox One console beta spotted last night that Max: The Curse of the Brotherhood was unlocked as a free download, as seen above. The game was listed in the Games with Gold section under the new label ‘Free Play Day with Gold.’

Microsoft’s official Xbox support Twitter account indicates that an announcement will be coming shortly.
