Watch 60 minutes of terrifying The Evil Within gameplay

Bethesda has released a video playthrough of a chapter of The Evil Within on PS4, amounting to an hour's worth of scares.

The video shows PR man Pete Hines playing some of what is the game's 9th chapter, titled 'The Cruelest Intentions.'

The Evil Within is survival horror legend Shinji Mikami's latest foray into the genre, so expectations are high. It's due for release in October on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
