Ordering a drink in Wasteland 2 can completely change a gameplay scenario

There will be so many different gameplay scenarios depending on player actions in Wasteland 2, you could play over and over again for a hundred hours without experiencing everything the game has to offer.

One example of this finds the player ordering a drink at a bar, walking out the door, going back in to complain, and being sent on a mission to an area otherwise inaccessible to the player.

It's that immerse and situational, according to inXile Entertainment boss Brian Fargo. If you prefer, you can even be a professional asshole in the game, gunning down everyone in sight, thus incurring the wrath of the Rangers.

Think of it as Wasteland 1, Fallout and Fallout 2 on steroids and you get the gist.

Below, you will find a video featuring Fargo discussing just some of the gameplay elements and possibilities in the ambitious post-apocalyptic RPG.

Wasteland 2 will be released around the first half September for Linux, Mac and PC. The game was originally set for an August release, but slipped a bit due to obligations surrounding physical goods.
