Check out these amazing Destiny stats from the beta

The 4.6 million of you who played the Destiny beta racked up some interesting stats. Did you know that 88.4 million games were played during the tester? You guys are mad.

There were 6.5 million Guardians created, and 851,264 of you went to the moon. Those that claim to have landed on the moon numbers 1,969. Ha! Good one there, Bungie.

The beta was also full of carnage: there were over 164 million deaths and 3.7 billion (yes, billion) kills.

However, you guys were also keen on helping other players out because there were over 62 million Guardians revived.

Even 777,000 of of you used the companion app to lovingly gaze upon your super special gear.

"We’re running out of ways to thank you for what the Beta has meant to us. We hope you had fun," said community manager David "Deej" Dague. "Destiny will be a better game because you played it. Perhaps that’s the best gesture we can manage – to deliver a game that’s better than it was before your contribution.

"Today is the first day of August. Start the countdown on your last month of waiting. Next month, we’ll all start playing Destiny for real."
