Yes, you can get Alien: Isolation's awesome pre-order DLC after launch

Alien: Isolation has such awesome-sounding pre-order bonus DLC that it's ignited the whole "pre-order bonuses are teh debbil" debate. But don't fret! You'll be able to obtain it through other means.

Alien: Isolation pre-orders earn an automatic upgrade to the Nostromo Edition, which includes the Crew Expandable DLC, featuring the cast of the original 1979 movie.

If you pre-order from some retailers, you'll also score the Last Survivor mission, in which Ripley must escape the Nostromo.

You can read more about both of these offers, or take a look at the content in a trailer.

Obviously, you want both of these things more than anything else in the world, but maybe pre-orders aren't your bag. Maybe you don't agree with pre-orders. Maybe you don't like exclusive content. Maybe you're just broke.

Happily: Sega's got you covered, according to a recent Facebook post:

"Some of you have been asking if the two pieces of content are only available through pre-order or if we'll be releasing them at a later date as well. I can confirm today that we do plan to release both Crew Expendable and Last Survivor at a later date and we'll have more details for you guys on that shortly," community manager Nee wrote.

Alien: Isolation is coming to PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in October.
