A live action series, Halo Nightfall is part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The project was led by Bladerunner director Ridley Scott, and will release in weekly episodes when the game launches in November.

According to Major Nelson's blog, key cast and crew will be in attendance at San Diego Comic Con, as will Halo franchise boss Frank O'Connor and 343 Industries' Kiki Wolf, for a panel to be held at 11:45AM on July 24.

At the panel, you'll have a chance to "be among the first to get the details of the story and production".

There'll also be a panel on Halo: The Master Chief Collection on the following day, at 10:15AM. Senior producer Neddins Ries and Certain Affinity president Max Hoberman will join O'Connor to discuss the compilation.

Microsoft is bringing 20 playable games to the convention and will also host a Sunset overdrive panel. Hit the link above for more details.
