Was there really ever any doubt who would grace the cover of this year's WWE 2K game?

John Cena is current WWE World Heavyweight Champion and has held 15 championships over the course of his career. He's one of the most popular WWE athletes active today, and was a shoe-in for WWE 2K15 cover star.

2K Sports announced the decision via Twitter, showing off the cover art below:

WWE 2K15 hits PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in October.
