Destiny PS4 beta won't be available to all PS Plus members in July after all

Destiny is going into beta for all PS4 pre-order customers in July, and it seems that PlayStation Europe pushed out some incorrect information about PS Plus access last night.

It follows news that Destiny's most cringe-worthy line of dialogue so far - delivered by Game of Thrones' Peter Dinklage - has been transformed into a t-shirt. Want?

File this one under us simply keeping you informed and giving you the facts, but last night PlayStation Europe posted out a PS Plus July blog post that began:

Hi everyone. I hope you’ve recovered from the excitement of E3 and are ready for an epic July. Not only are we bringing you a great mix of games but there’s also the Destiny beta, which kicks off on 17th July exclusively on PlayStation. If you’re a PlayStation Plus member you will be able to fully experience Destiny and its incredible multiplayer. And if you’re not? Well, what are you waiting for, sign up now!

This seems to state that all PS4 PlayStation Plus members will be given access to the Destiny July beta, but as it happens the post was written in error.

Allow PlayStation Europe's Chris Owen to explain:

Owen's confirmation follows the below exchange, suggesting he simply got it wrong. We are all only humans after all:
