Super Smash Bros out Holiday 2014, Mii and action figure fighters revealed

Super Smash Bros. Wii U will allow gamers to fight as their Mii character and scan in collectible NFC figures and bring them into fight. It's out Holiday 2014.

Masahiro Sakurai explained that he was against having Miis as fighters initially, but they've been tweaked to make them more fight-friendly, with weapons, more animation and other quirks that make them formidable in battle.

They come in Brawler, Gunner ad Swordfighter classes, each with 12 move options.

He added that the sale date of the 3DS version is "fast approaching." It appears to have a baseball bat range, world map mode and other mini-games on top of regular battles.
