This strange and beautiful video shows why Hotline Miami's composer was perfect for the job

Hotline Miami composer Perturbator has won acclaim for his work on the retro-styled murder-'em-up, and this new music video shows why he was such an inspired choice for the gig.

She is Young, She is Beautiful is the latest track to be released from Dangerous Day's Pertubator's third album, which releases on June 17.

The retro-electronica here puts us in mind of the classic era of video games, and the video, directed by Jarkko Kinnunen & Sami Rämä, reflects that. Something about the car and the panther especially remind me of the classic adventure Another World (or Out of This World, if you insist) - although of course as with many "retro" graphics, it's hugely beyond the capabilities of those classic systems.
