New Payday 2 DLC is stealth-only and free tomorrow

Payday 2 developer Overkill Software is releasing a new mission on Steam tomorrow absolutely free, and what's more, The Shadow Raid heist is completely stealth-only. Better get practising people.

Over on the Overkill blog, the team revealed that players will have to infiltrate a derelict warehouse that is frequently visited by PMC black hawk helicopters. Whatever's inside is surely valuable, and it's up to your crew to get in, steal it and get out undetected.

There are vaults inside that require keycards to unlock. Silently steal two cards and you can enter the inner chamber to steal the mysterious grand prize.

If you are spotted you'll have just 60 seconds to fill you pockets with loot then escape, making this a true stealth mission. Failure to make it out to a safe zone in time results in a game over. as the site says, "There is no plan B."

Also starting tomorrow until June 2, Payday 2 will be free to play, and participants will get 67% off the game if they choose to upgrade to the full version.
