Epic Games, as in, the team that brought you Gears of War and Unreal Tournament has crafted a Flappy Bird clone in Unreal Engine 4. Say hello to Tappy Chicken, out today on iOS and Google

It follows our interview with Epic about its new Unreal Tournament. We discussed why the shooter is free, how it will make money and more. Hit the link to see what they said.

Now, the company has released Tappy Chicken for free on iOS and Google Play. A free browser version is also on the way.

It was made by one Epic employee artist in Unreal Engine 4, despite not having a shred of prior coding experience.

Epic said of the game, “Tappy Chicken is the perfect showcase for the ease of use and flexibility of Unreal Engine 4.

“While it may not flex the full graphical muscle of the engine, it shows how almost anyone can make a fun and pretty game fit for mobile devices and web browsers.”
