Destiny will be the first game to allow automatic pre-loading on PS4

Bungie's upcoming shared-world shooter, Destiny, will be the first game to be automatically pre-loaded as soon as it's available, when you pre-order.

While PS4's pre-load function officially went live with firmware update v1.70, automatic pre-loading, meaning that if you have a game pre-ordered from PSN, the console will start to automatically download the game files as soon as the developers make them available, saving you valuable time you could spend playing.

A PlayStation support page has been recently updated to reveal the news, and it says, "Beginning with Destiny, certain pre-ordered titles can be automatically be pre-loaded prior to their release. This lets you rest easy knowing that your game will be ready for play the second its release date hits."

The support page also adds that titles which can be automatically pre-loaded will have a designation on their pre-order page.
