Mark Cerny and Andrew House to talk about what's next in console gaming at Develop

PlayStation 4 lead system architect and legendary developer Mark Cerny will be hosting a keynote at this year's Develop in Brighton, together with president and Group CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment, Andrew House.

Develop has announced the keynote which will be entitled "20 Years of PlayStation, 40 Years of Console Games and 100 Years to Come." The speakers will talk about the history of the PlayStation brand, and how the original console affected the mainstream appeal of the industry.

"Mark Cerny and I will look back over this fantastic period in which console gaming became mainstream, how our experiences shaped PlayStation 4 and where the industry will go from here," said Andrew House.

"We learnt a lot of lessons over the past 20 years, which shaped the decisions taken in designing the PlayStation 4. The Develop in Brighton conference is a wonderful opportunity for us to share some of these experiences with the industry and discuss what the future might hold," added Cerny.

In addition, Mark Cerny will also be attending the Develop Awards 2014, during which he will receive the prestigious Development Legend award.

This year's Develop takes place in Brighton from July 8 to July 10.
