Shadowgate trailer heralds northern summer release

Shadowgate is now available for pre-order ahead of its release in northern summer. Check out how far the classic adventure has come in the new trailer below.

Zojoi's reinvention of the beloved point-and-click adventure is coming to Android, iOS, Mac and PC. The Mac and PC versions are available for pre-order on the game's website, at 25% off with various bonus content unlocks.

Two special editions are available with extras like wallpapers, soundtrack and beta access.

Shadowgate first launched in 1987 on the Macintosh, but is well known for its NES, Game Boy and N64 ports. The rebuild was funded through Kickstarter and has been put together by members of the original development team.

The new version supports up to 4K resolutions, hand-painted visual detail, new puzzles and more objects, as well as lots of secret content, and in-jokes for veterans.
