Assassin's Creed 3 & Mass Effect 2 animator Jonathan Cooper joins Naughty Dog

Uncharted 4 developer Naughty Dog has hired former animation director on Assassin's Creed 3 Jonathan Cooper. It's the first high-profile hire from the team following a wave of resignations.

Perhaps Naughty Dog's highest-profile loss is that of Uncharted writer Amy Hennig. Check out our full report on her departure here.

Game Informer spotted a change of job role on Cooper's LinkedIn CV, which now states he has been working as animator at Naughty Dog for the past three months,.

Interestingly, his job history states he was working on an unannounced project at Ubisoft Montreal, where he was, "Prototyping a revolutionary new kind of navigation system for next-gen systems."

We'll have more on this if and when it's made publicly official.
