Defense Grid 2 trailer shows off new engine

By Dave Owen, Wednesday, 16 April 2014 08:44 GMT

A new trailer for Defense Grid has emerged from the PAX East melee. It doesn’t show much, but it gives a look at the game’s new engine and some of the new levels. Check it out.

So, there’s no sign of any of the multiplayer modes, which will come in co-op and competitive flavours. Still, following a troubled development, it’s good to see that Hidden Path’s sequel to the popular 2008 tower defense game is heading in the right direction.

It’s expected on Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linuz later this year.

Thanks, RPS.
