It’s being reported that SCEE will be performing PSN maintenance in Europe on Easter Monday for a period of 12 hours, running into the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The Sixth Axis reports that the maintenance will begin at 4pm BST on Monday April 21 and finish at 4am Tuesday April 22.
The news apparently comes from a tweet by PlayStation English community manager Chris Owen, although it seems to have since been removed. If the maintenance is indeed going ahead, it will mean PlayStation Home, Account Management, and PlayStation Store will be unavailable. So if you’re planning on downloading something to play on your extra day off, do it ahead of time.
Online play will remain available to users who have recently signed in to their PSN account and have their authentication details cached.
