The game, heavily promoted on TV in the region, has a metacritic score of 61.
The UK’s number one belongs to a resurgent Titanfall following its release on Xbox 360 with sales up 220 percent.
Warner Bros’ LEGO The Hobbit entered the charts at number 2, while FIFA 14 slipped to 3.
Sales of South Park: The Stick of Truth jumped 52 percent pushing the game to number 4, just ahead of Call of Duty: Ghosts at 5.
