Xbox One update to allow YouTube uploads, Xbox 360 to get GoPro app

Microsoft has announced that it will be releasing an update to the YouTube app on Xbox One tomorrow allowing users to upload their gameplay clips to the service.

After applying the update, you'll be seeing a 'My Uploads' section added to the YouTube app. You can then upload clips captured by the Game DVR to the service. You can also use Upload Studio to edit clips before uploading them.

The update will also be bringing the highly-requested feature of being able to watch YouTube in Snap mode, in addition, the update will also allow you to add YouTube videos to your Pins, earn Media Achievements, and add your YouTube channels to the OneGuide.

In the same vein, Microsoft has also announced that the GoPro app will be available this week on Xbox 360. Using the app, you'll be able to watch curated GoPro video content in categories such as sports, adventure and athletes, with two exclusive videos available on the app before anywhere else.

The app will also allow you to purchase GoPro cameras and accessories directly through the app, with orders in the U.S. will be fulfilled by the Microsoft online store.
