Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn PS4 beta 2 is now live, here's how to join

Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn's second PS4 beta phase is now live, and Square Enix has sent us a guide explaining how you can take part this weekend.

The guide explains that PS4 players will be able to join PS3 and PC users during the beta phase, which will run until 9am GMT on April 7. Progress achieved during the trial will also carry over to the full Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn PS4 launch on April 14.

Here's how you can take part:

  • Proceed to the PlayStation®Store and download FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn (PlayStation®4 Beta Version). Once the download is complete, installation will begin automatically.
  • Start FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn (PlayStation®4 Beta Version) from the home screen.
  • Log in using (or create) your Square Enix account and follow the on-screen instructions to start the game.
