Xbox One: VR is not a fad, steady stream of ID@Xbox titles inbound, promises Spencer

Microsoft’s newly-appointed Xbox boss Phil Spencer has been talking with fans on Twitter about how he feels VR is not a fad, contrary to comments made by Xbox co-founder Ed Fries, who recently stated that the concept doesn’t have mass appeal.

We reported on Spencer’s promotion this week, along with statements from Microsoft’s Satya Nadella and the man himself.

Now, Spencer has taken to Twitter to discuss VR, among other things. He started by saying:

This comment follows this ID@Xbox trailer, which sees developers discussing the initiative and their games.

Spencer also answered a few Shenmue 3 questions, and admitted that it was probably a bad idea to do so:
