Crazy Taxi: City Rush is F2P sequel from series creator, coming to mobiles this year

Crazy Taxi: City Rush is the new free-to-play sequel from series creator Kenji Kanno and Hardlight Studios. it's coming to iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Android devices later this year.

In a press release sent to VG247 today, Kanno said, “I’m very excited to finally be able to share with you the first news of Crazy Taxi: City Rush. We are delivering a truly fun game that captures everything our fans love about the original and infusing it with several new features to create an even more fantastic and memorable experience.”

The game will see players swiping to change lanes and powerslide around corners while ferrying passengers across those crazy, crazy streets. Playes can also customise their cab and tune-up its stats, as well as unlocking more extras throughout the campaign.

To celebrate the announcement, the original Crazy Taxi is free on Android and iOS for a limited time.
