Titanfall: EA responds to PC connection problems, “unexpected downtime” [UPDATE]

Reapswn has announced Titanfall issues on PC have been resolved, per a Twitter post: “Our team has resolved the PC connectivity issues and you should now be able to connect to matchmaking servers.” Original story is posted below.

Titanfall launched Stateside yesterday, and Respawn’s PC build has been experiencing some connection problems. EA has since posted an update to assure players it’s on the case.

Over on the EA help site, the publisher wrote:

Titanfall is currently experiencing connection problems, which means you may not be able to connect to online play, or even might get dropped from an online match you’re currently playing.

Rest assured that we’re addressing this problem and will provide updates as soon as possible.

We’ll update you as new information seeps out of EA’s cracks.

Meanwhile; Respawn has explained why the Titanfall on PC requires a 48GB install, while the Xbox One edition only needs 17GB.
