Watch Dogs: 8-player free roam mode confirmed by Ubisoft

Watch Dogs finally got its new, May 27 release date yesterday thanks to this new trailer, and there's also a new PS4 bundle on the way.
To add to this stack of new insight, Ubisoft creative director Jonathan Morin has confirmed that Watch Dogs will pack a free roam mode for up to eight players:
It's a small update, but an update no less.
