Final Fantasy 11 'Job Points' system allows level 99 players to overclock characters

Final Fantasy 11 developer Square Enix has confirmed it is adding a new Job Points progression system to give players room to further enhance their level 99 characters. It's due to appear in the next update, which is pegged for around March-April.

This developer post on the forum explains that there's a nomad moogle in Ru'Lude Gardens after gaining the 'Limit Breaker' item and reaching a job level of 99 to receive a 'Job Breaker' item that allows you to use the new progression points.

Defeating enemies while in possession of the item will net you points that, for every 30,000 earned will net the player one Job Point, which can be used to progress your character beyond level 99.
