Etherium screens show RTS factions, unit types & cataclysmic weather effects

Etherium publisher Focus Home Interactive has released a trio of new screens and information for Tindalos Interactive's sci-fi RTS.

We covered the Etherium reveal and teaser trailer in January, which detailed the game's warring factions, which are each fighting for control of the titular resource. The main hook are cataclysmic weather changes that can see maps smothered in low-visibility sandstorms and lava flows that dynamically change the way maps play out.

The new screens focus on two factions. The Council's overseers have the gift of foresight thanks to Etherium exposure, and are a devoted, religious bunch, while the Galaad are a technological clone army that need the resource to prolong their short life-span. It seems each faction really does need control of Etherium to survive.
