Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare DLC will be free, according to PopCap's senior franchise marketing manager Gary Clay.

Clay stressed that all of the game's DLC will be free, although it's not clear if this will apply to microtransaction items suggested by the shooter's coin and content pack system. Either way, new content is expected this month.
