Unsung Story crowdfunding to continue, console stretch goals still possible

Unsung Story: Tale of the Guardians developer Plaudek has opened crowdfunding for those who missed the Kickstarter campaign, and hasn't yet shelved prospective 3DS, PlayStation 4 and Vita pots.

Playdek is accepting donations via PayPal on the game's website, and is offering many of the same rewards as were extended to Kickstarter backers.

Those who have already backed the game are offered the chance to snag extra rewards by purchasing add-ons.

Both offers will only be available for two weeks, so get on board now if you're keen.

Unsung Story's Kickstarter campaign ended about two weeks ago, meeting the initial target but falling short of all stretch goals.

Playdek CEO Joel Goodman told Polygon that the additional campaign is a way to "let more fans join our team" - but also hinted that previously announced stretch goals aren't off the table.

"By offering these options for two more weeks through our website, we hope we can appease fans that missed our first funding efforts and meet our stretch goals," he said.

At present, we're expecting Unsung Story on Android, iOS, Linux, Mac and PC. It's a tactical RPG from a team led by Vagrant Story creator Yasumi Matsuno, and one of two titles announced in the franchise; the other is a mobile card game.
