VG247 is in the process of putting together a report that digs deep into the development and employment culture of China’s games industry, and we need your help to make it as accurate and insightful as possible.

Following on from Dave’s investigative report into crunch time culture within games development, we are now turning our focus to China.

We’re looking to address the true impact – if any – of China’s government lifting its ban on games consoles, the piracy of console games that already exists across the country, workplace ethics among Chinese game studios, and labour environments within the country’s manufacturing plants, among other things.

If you feel your expertise meets this criteria, or if you know of someone who can help, please drop Dave a line at dave [at] VG247 [dot] com. You reserve the right to remain anonymous at all times, if you wish.

Thank you. With your help we can produce a fair and accurate report on the topics above.

Sometimes we include links to online retail stores. If you click on one and make a purchase we may receive a small commission. Read our policy.
