Nexon reports increased revenue for Q4, names Owen Mahoney as new CEO

Nexon has released its Q4 fiscal earnings and reports a 12% year-over-year increase in revenue to 34.47 billion yen ($337.79 million). The firm has also names a new CEO, who will take over for president and current CEO Seungwoo Choi who is retiring.

For the quarter ended December 31, 2013, Nexon also noted a 17% increase in revenue from PC games, while also posting a 5% decline in mobile revenue.

Total revenue for 2013 was up 43% to 155.3 billion yen, with net income up 7% to 30.1 billion yen.

The company's new CEO, Owen Mahoney, has been the firms CFO and CAO since joining the firm in 2010. Mahoney was SVP of corporate development at Electronic Arts from 2000 to 2009.
