Hellraid dev diary shows off first-person sword fighting

Hellraid builds on Techland's fondness for first-person melee combat, but unlike Dead Island's frantic flailing, the fencing aims to look, feel and sound realistic and satisfying.

The first-person fantasy action effort has not been signed to a publisher. It will feature a co-op mode for up to four participants in addition to single-player and an online mode called Game Master. Maps are randomly generated. It's expected on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 sometime this year.

If you'd like to know more, Dave asked TechLand what exactly Hellraid is.
