Deep Down delayed until after summer in Japan, Capcom confirms

Deep Down developer Capcom has confirmed that its PS4-exclusive RPG has been delayed in Japan until after summer. It was originally slated to enter beta testing around the Japanese launch of Sony's console on February 22.

In a roundtable interview with Dengeki Online, Deep Down producer Kazunori Sugiura said, "About Deep Down, I think we’ll give full fledged information to everyone after the summer, so you may have to wait for a little while beyond the launch [of PS4] on February 22nd."

He then added that Capcom is looking to push the PS4's power in full, "Since we don’t want to risk to be told 'This could have been done on PS3!' we want to finish a game that fully uses the PS4 hardware specs."

Based on these Deep Down PS4 screens, would you agree that it's pushing Sony's tech? Let us know below.
