Gunpoint creator's newest game is space stealth sim Heat Signature

Heat Signature is a game about sneaking onto spaceships from Tom Francis, the creator of Gunpoint. Take a look at in action in the video through the break.

The randomly-generated game has players carefully managing how much heat they give off as they approach ships of varying sensitivity.

Although this isn't the first time Francis has shown off Heat Signature, this is the first video showing what actually happens when you manage to catch and board a ship. It's still very early footage though, and Francis has a list of features still to be implemented.

There's no release or pricing information yet, and in an update to the game's website, Francis said the best way to keep track of the project is to join the mailing list.

Gunpoint, Francis's first release after quitting games journalism, was a critical darling, and made back Francis's investment money in 64 seconds.
