Gears of War Xbox One will "define next-gen" says industry insider - rumour

Gears of War developer Black Tusk Studio has been hotly-tipped to define next-gen experiences by an industry insider.

It follows Microsoft's Phil Spencer bigging up Black Tusk's work and the new Gears of War game on Twitter. It certainly seems as if the company is backing the new shooter with all its got.

Now, NeoGAF member Ashan Rasheed - who has a solid track record in providing accurate leaks - said of the new shooter, "Also don’t sleep on Black Tusk, they have the chops to define next-gen. Insiders were hearing they had the most impressive X1 tech long ago."

Treat this as rumour of course, but it's not a big stretch to say that Microsoft really believes in Black Tusk. They've been singing their praises since Epic sold the series to Microsoft earlier in the week.
