Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call trademarked in Europe

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call is launching in Japan this Spring, and Square Enix has stayed quiet on any possible western release. However, it's now surfaced that the 3DS title was trademarked in Europe last month, specifically the term 'Curtain Call.'

As Nintendo Life suggests, this could merely be Square covering its own arse and safeguarding the 'Curtain Call' name. The same trademark was filed in North America back in September, leading to rumours that the game is coming west.

Square's European trademark was filed on Christmas Eve, and was only recently spotted. Could the game be coming west after all? We've asked the publisher for comment.
