Diablo 3 launcher to be upgraded to Battle.net desktop client

Diablo 3's launcher will soon be redundant, integrated fully into Blizzard's ever-improving Battle.net desktop client upon release of first expansion Reaper of Souls. A Battle.net announcement offers you the chance to get in early by downloading the client now, ahead of what is likely to be serious demand on launch day. Otherwise, the upgrade will take place automatically when Reaper of Souls and patch 2.0.1 drop, on March 25. The client also works for World of Warcraft and StarCraft 2.

Thanks, Polygon.
