League of Legends: Little Wraith team members handed ban after server crackdown

League of Legends pro team Little Wraith's players have been hit with bans just a couple of months after qualifying for the Intel Extreme Masters Regional Invitational. Riot Games has since responded to the matter.

PlayerAttack reports that three members of Little Wraith have been banned from League of Legends following a wave of disciplinary action on Riot's Oceanic server. Mirko Gozzo from Riot has posted a statement on the matter.

It reads, "I can not go into much detail due to privacy reasons, but basically we regularly perform checks on our player behaviour and on this last check, a number of players - not only pro players - were found acting against our Summoner’s Code, and therefore were temporarily banned."

It is believed that Team Immunity and Nv have also been hit by the bans, and PlayerAttack adds that one Nv player has received the harshest penalty in the form of a six online and offline competitive ban.
