Call of Duty: Ghosts Winter Invitational kicks off January 20

Major League Gaming has announced the MLG Call of Duty: Ghosts Winter Invitational will be airing exclusively on MLG.TV starting January 20.

Those who want to see teams shoot each other in a game live, can tune in at 6.00pm EST. For the next three weeks, the top Call of Duty teams on the MLG network will be vying for $5,000 in prize money while practicing for the official Call of Duty Championship qualifiers.

Teams will compete January 20 - February 2, Monday through Friday from 6pm until the last match at 10.30pm EST, and on Saturday and Sunday beginning at noon, EST. You can look over the entire broadcast schedule here.

Each team plays 14 matches, two against each team and the top four teams will advance to a single elimination bracket. First place bets $4,000 and second place walks off with $1,000.

The Winter Invitational is part of MLG’s Call of Duty competition and broadcasts, and last week, Activision and MLG released details for the $1 Million Call of Duty Championship including the online qualifiers.

The qualifiers kick off this weekend.
