Catlateral Damage lets you trash a room as only a cat can

The other day I came home to find the kitchen covered in shreds of paper towel. Why? Because I own a cat. Now there's finally a game to let us experience what goes on in their furry little minds.

Catlateral Damage has you stepping into the destructive paws of our feline "friends", with the aim of knocking everything off the shelves onto the floor, as quickly as you can.

It's small and rough at the moment, but it was originally made by one guy, Chris Chung, in a week, for the 7DFPS challenge. Now he's working on it in his spare time to turn it into a full game, which he hopes to release later this year.

Of his current version, Chung said "this is kind of entertaining, and the idea is funny, but it's just making me want something else, which is a cat parkour game where you just navigate an apartment as a cat." And knock stuff over, of course.

You can play the latest build for free in your browser, and if you find it as entertaining as we do, you can vote for it on Steam Greenlight.

Thanks, Kotaku.
