Need for Speed movie gets behind-the-scene cars shots & stunt details

Need for Speed's movie adaptation seems to be shaping up not bad, but if there's one area you definitely shouldn't fear, it's the stupidly expensive cars they're using - and destroying - during production. One site has taken a stack of behind-the-scenes photos of the rides and locations used during filming.

It comes from racing enthusiast site Speedhunters, which has snapped photos of such cars as the Koenigsegg Agera R, GTA Spano and the positively space-aged Lamborghini Sesto Elemento.

The site adds that almost every car you see in the photo real will crash in the film and that the stunt have been done "for real." However, certain stunts demanded that cars be modified to gain air and presumably not kill anyone inside or near by.

If you're a car nut, go check out Speedhunter's report basically, it gives some neat insight into cars are prepped for stunts and how these insane feats were realised on screen.

Then watch the Need For Speed movie trailer again, obviously.
