Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 developer Square Enix has released a new 'Inside the Square' making of that looks at the JRPG's time time system. Watch it here.

I covered Lighting Returns: Final Fantasy 13's time system in my interview with Square Enix last year. It's a lot like Dead Rising, so I was told.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 hits PS3 and Xbox 360 on February 11 in North America, then February 14 across Europe.
