Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster's development was outsourced to Chinese developer Virtuos

Chinese development house Virtuos announced today that it carried out development duties for the upcoming HD re-release release of Final Fantasy 10/10-2 for both PlayStation 3 and PS Vita.

The studio delivered the news saying it was a "a new milestone" for the team," adding the project was its "biggest to date".

Videogamer adds that the studio is responsible for porting multiple titles to mobile platforms, including XCOM: Enemy Unkown's iOS affair, and also providing art assets for The Last of US.

The RPG is out March 18 in North America and March 21 in Europe.
