2014 Pokemon World Championships are live - watch here

More than 500 of the world's best Pokemon Trading Card Game and video game players from 30 countries are participating in the 2014 Pokemon World Championships for the title of Pokemon World Champion. You can watch it all unfold on Twitch, right here.

It is all going down at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC, August 15-17.

It kickedoff at 9am EST/6am PDT today, August 16 with the World Championships Opening Ceremony and a full day of Pokemon video game and Pokemon TCG matches.

On Sunday, August 17, the Championship Final Matches begin at 9am EDT/6am PDT and will be followed by the event's Closing Ceremony.
